Olejnik Invites Soccer Stars: “Every Gesture Against Violence Matters”

Veteran journalist Monika Olejnik has launched a new social campaign aimed at reducing online hate. The project, called “Manifest Moniki”, gathers public figures to promote respectful conduct in digital spaces.

Participants and format

Olejnik invited several Polish national team players to join the initiative. Karol Świderski, Bartosz Bereszyński and Jakub Kamiński appear in short video messages shared on her Instagram. Adrian Mierzejewski, the national team’s technical director, also took part in the recordings.

Campaign message

The effort focuses on discouraging hate speech and encouraging constructive behaviour online. Olejnik urged people to highlight training and positive actions instead of spreading hostility. Every Gesture Against Violence Matters is presented as the campaign’s guiding idea.

Public reaction

The Instagram post drew many supportive responses from users. Comments praised the players and commended Olejnik for promoting dialogue. She also called on others to record and share their own contributions to the manifesto.

Timing and context

The campaign rollout coincided with an important national team fixture. Poland is set to play Albania on March 26 at 20:45 in World Cup qualifying action. Captain Robert Lewandowski stressed that, while respecting opponents, the team aims to control the match and set the tempo.

Follow-up and how to join

Olejnik invited the public to submit videos that echo the project’s principles. Filmogaz.com will share updates and materials related to the initiative. Interested people can also follow the Facebook group #Wszechmocne for webinar dates, interviews and new stories.
