Coronation Street Reveals Next Character to Outsmart Theo Silverton

Filmogaz.com reports that Coronation Street has revealed domestic abuse within a major storyline. The abuse by Theo Silverton towards Todd has begun to surface among Weatherfield residents.

How the abuse comes to light

George Shuttleworth becomes suspicious and shares concerns with Christina Boyd and Summer Spellman. They later tell Glenda Shuttleworth and Sarah Platt about their fears. Todd defends Theo when he learns of the conversation.

Friends confront the truth

Sarah gathers evidence that persuades Gary Windass to reassess Theo. Gary accompanies Todd to the flat and witnesses Theo shouting abuse. He then sacks Theo from the builder’s yard and warns him.

Escape plan and deception

Concerned, George gives Todd an escape bag stocked with essentials. Todd debates whether to flee but plans for Belfast complicate matters. Theo finds the holdall; Todd passes it off as a gift for their fresh start.

Confrontation at the Bistro

Theo goes to the Bistro to challenge George, Sarah and Summer. They discover Todd’s Belfast plans and plead with him to stay. Todd refuses to listen and changes the subject instead.

Next moves and a new arrival

Coronation Street has set the scene for another character to intervene. A newcomer may try to outsmart Theo Silverton and halt his control.
