Story and setting

While celebrating their last night together, the pair find a mysterious portal. It transports them to Nakali, a fantastical island steeped in Filipino myth.
Nakali teems with magical and mythological creatures. Some creatures help them. Others become dangerous adversaries.

Jo and Raissa learn that leaving the island comes with a terrible cost. The memory of their entire friendship is the price for returning home.
