Seven drivers had their licences withdrawn following breath tests and checks. Four motorists, aged between 27 and 60, recorded blood alcohol levels above 1.00 g/l.
The highest reading was 1.46 g/l from a 27-year-old driver. A 60-year-old truck driver tested at 1.06 g/l.
A 48-year-old refused to undergo testing. His licence was seized and the vehicle placed under administrative hold.
Crash and vehicle seizure
Carabinieri in Badia withdrew a 27-year-old’s licence after a crash. The collision caused only material damage.
Authorities ordered administrative seizure of his vehicle with a view to confiscation.
Weapons and drugs reports
Officers filed a criminal complaint for illegal weapons possession against one person. A 21-year-old was found carrying a folding knife and was already known to police.
Separately, a 20-year-old was reported for personal use of hashish.
