JB Gill Reveals Why Renewing Wedding Vows Didn’t Feel Right

JB Gill has spoken candidly about his marriage to dancer Chloe. The former JLS singer explained why the couple decided against a vow renewal after ten years together.

Marriage and family life

Gill and Chloe married in 2014. They first met when Chloe performed with JLS.

The ceremony took place on the Isle of Bute. JLS bandmates Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes and Oritse Williams attended.

The couple have two children, a son named Ace and a daughter named Chiara.

Why they skipped a vow renewal

JB Gill said renewing wedding vows didn’t feel right when the ten-year mark arrived. He told Filmogaz.com that the idea had been discussed for years.

He explained family life and work left little spare time. The children, he added, were the main focus.

Gill suggested they may revisit the idea when the children are older and more independent.

Presenting work and Strictly

Gill is a regular co-presenter on The One Show. He returned to hosting this week alongside Alex Jones.

He previously appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Apprentice. In 2024 he partnered with Amy Dowden before she withdrew due to injury.

Colleague milestones

Alex Jones recently marked ten years of marriage to husband Charlie Thomson. The pair wed on New Year’s Eve 2015 at Cardiff Castle.

She shared a photo from their wedding while on holiday in New Zealand. Jones thanked family and friends for their support.
