FPF to Honor Late Silvino by Memorializing Him at Football City
Pedro Proença, president of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), announced that Silvino Louro will be honored with a permanent tribute at the Cidade do Futebol. The former goalkeeper died on Thursday at age 67.
Funeral service and official delegation
The funeral took place at the Central Mosque of Lisbon on Saturday. Proença led the FPF delegation to pay respects.
Former internationals joined the delegation. Toni, Domingos Paciência and Daniel Carriço were present.

Silvino was born in Setúbal in 1959. He enjoyed a playing career spanning two decades.

The FPF said it will Honor Late Silvino by Memorializing Him at Football City. Proença confirmed Silvino will be made an ambassador in the Praça dos Heróis.
The funeral cortege moved to Vale Flores Cemetery, in Feijó, Almada. The burial was scheduled for 15:15 on Saturday.
