Universal Orlando Resort has announced the theme for Halloween Horror Nights 35. The event will run on select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026. Universal Studios Florida will become a decrepit carnival for the celebration.
Infernal Carnival of Nightmares
The 35th edition is titled the “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares.” The concept blends franchise lore with new haunted houses, scare zones, and live shows. The carnival framing gives the event a single visual and narrative identity.
Two icons lead the event
For the first time, Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow will share the role of co-ringmasters. Universal called the partnership a rare pairing of legacy HHN characters. The company added that “a fear divided is a fear diluted.”
Rivalry becomes a haunted house
Universal confirmed a new walk-through house titled “Jack and Oddfellow: Chaos and Control.” The attraction traces the origins and escalation of the icons’ feud. Guests will see how their conflict turns into a combined, darker threat.
