Dennis Rodman Inducted into 2026 WWE Hall of Fame

Dennis Rodman will join the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. Filmogaz.com confirms the induction is part of a multi-name class announced ahead of WrestleMania 42.

Induction ceremony details

The Hall of Fame ceremony is set for Friday, April 17, 2026. It will be held at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas.

The event takes place the night before WrestleMania 42. WrestleMania is scheduled for April 18–19 at Allegiant Stadium.

What was announced so far

The initial 2026 class was revealed on March 2. Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, and Demolition were first confirmed.

Additional names, including Rodman, were unveiled in the weeks leading to WrestleMania. The celebrity wing returns to prominence with this group.

Rodman’s wrestling history

Dennis Rodman first appeared in WCW in 1997. He joined the New World Order alongside Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

His in-ring debut came at Bash at the Beach in July 1997. Rodman teamed with Hogan and lost to Lex Luger and The Giant.

He returned to Bash at the Beach in 1998. Rodman and Hogan defeated Karl Malone and Diamond Dallas Page in that celebrity tag match.

At Road Wild 1997, Rodman appeared disguised as Impostor Sting. He used a baseball bat to attack Lex Luger and help Hogan win the WCW title.

Rodman later feuded with Randy Savage in 1999. That rivalry ended with a Road Wild match that Rodman lost.

His most recent wrestling appearance was in September 2023. He appeared on AEW Collision in Chicago, aligning with The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn.

Celebrity wing context

Rodman’s induction spotlights WWE’s celebrity wing. Past celebrity inductees have included Arnold Schwarzenegger and Donald Trump.

This category often brings mainstream attention to the Hall of Fame. Rodman’s high-profile sports and media history adds to that trend.

Basketball legacy

Rodman won five NBA championships in his career. He claimed two titles with the Detroit Pistons, in 1989 and 1990.

He won three more titles with the Chicago Bulls in 1996, 1997, and 1998. He played alongside Michael Jordan on those Bulls teams.

Rodman led the NBA in rebounds per game for seven straight seasons. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.

Other inductees and notes

AJ Styles’ Hall of Fame status was confirmed after The Undertaker’s surprise appearance. That moment occurred during Styles’ retirement ceremony on Raw.

Demolition—three-time WWF Tag Team Champions—were also announced. Their first reign lasted 478 days, beginning at WrestleMania IV.

Stephanie McMahon was the first inductee revealed. She was announced in September 2025 at Wrestlepalooza and served as an on-screen authority figure for over two decades.

Filmogaz.com notes that Dennis Rodman inducted into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame marks a crossover moment. The ceremony will cap a week of major wrestling events in Las Vegas.
