Anderson joined First Four action with Texas at the University of Dayton Arena. With about one second left, Tramon Mark made a shot. The bucket gave Texas a two-point lead over North Carolina State.
Anderson ran onto the court to celebrate. He nearly reached the free-throw line as Wolfpack players signaled for a timeout. He was fortunate officials did not assess a technical foul.
