Lorry Fire Shuts Down M5, Causing Significant Delays
A lorry fire has forced the closure of the M5 southbound near Stroud. Emergency services were called at about 2.25am on Wednesday 18 March.

The closure affects the stretch between junction 13 for Stroud and junction 14 for Thornbury. Vehicles have been held since the incident, with queues extending to junction 12 at Quedgeley.
