Doha — The Zakat Affairs Department at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has launched its annual distribution plan.
The aim is to deliver Zakat Al Fitr to eligible families promptly and in line with Islamic Sharia.

Director Mal Allah Abdulrahman Al Jaber emphasized timely distribution ahead of Eid prayers.
He said contributions consist of staple food items packaged into parcels, following the Sunnah.

Work begins with counting beneficiaries and verifying eligibility within Sharia Zakat banks.
