Following this, she underwent two weeks of in-class theoretical training focused on bus driving. While some view bus driving as a fallback career, Kate challenges this stereotype. For her, the job represents a viable career choice aimed at achieving financial security. “The pay is great,” she noted, emphasizing the flexibility of the work schedule, which is accommodating for family commitments.

With a plexiglass barrier around her seat and a radio for emergencies, she finds the environment safe.
