Hidden Valley Seeks ‘Ranch-bassadors’ to Test Ranch Dressing Across Europe
Hidden Valley Ranch has announced an exciting initiative to connect ranch dressing with European cuisine. The program, called the “Hidden Valley Ranch-bassador Program,” will invite four fans to explore various countries while tasting the uniquely American condiment in international dishes.
Ranch-bassador Program Details
Launched on March 10, 2026, in honor of National Ranch Day, this initiative aims to introduce ranch dressing to new audiences as the United States approaches its 250th anniversary.
Travel Itinerary
The selected participants will embark on an eight-week journey across Europe, documenting their experiences along the way. Here’s an overview of potential routes:
- Northern Route: London, Ireland, Iceland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden
- Southern Route: London, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Greece
Expectations and Compensation
Each team of two will act as “on-the-ground cultural explorers,” experimenting with how ranch dressing complements local food. They are required to produce:
- Four short-form videos weekly
- One comprehensive YouTube episode summarizing their journey
Hidden Valley will provide all necessary equipment and compensate participants for about 40 hours of work each week. This includes coverage for travel expenses such as flights, lodging, and meals.
Application Process
The application period for the Ranch-bassador program opens on March 31, 2026. Candidates must apply in pairs and be comfortable sharing accommodations during their travels. Interested individuals should be enthusiastic about food, travel, storytelling, and content creation.
Promotion of Ranch Culture
According to Stacy Stokes, Vice President of Marketing at Hidden Valley Ranch, this project represents a cultural exchange, showcasing the brand’s commitment to sharing ranch dressing globally. “As we celebrate America’s 250th, we’re inviting our biggest fans to help us bring the flavor of America abroad,” she stated.
Parallel Promotions
This announcement coincides with other brands celebrating National Ranch Day. For example, Wingstop has introduced a 32oz “Big A$$ Ranch Cup,” available in select cities like Dallas and New York City.
Hidden Valley’s Ranch-bassador Program not only celebrates a beloved condiment but also highlights the brand’s dedication to culinary exploration and cultural exchange.
