The 2026 Aftershock Festival lineup just dropped — and it is the biggest the festival has ever assembled. Tool, My Chemical Romance, Limp Bizkit, and Pierce the Veil headline four massive nights at Discovery Park in Sacramento, with over 140 bands across five stages. The 14th annual Aftershock Festival runs October 1–4, 2026 at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California, with My Chemical Romance headlining Thursday, Limp Bizkit on Friday, Pierce the Veil on Saturday, and Tool closing the weekend on Sunday.
The festival grounds have been expanded to add a fifth stage this year — the biggest Aftershock footprint ever. For the first time in festival history, camping via RV and tents is available at nearby Cal Expo.
Danny Wimmer said of the 2026 Aftershock lineup: "We've brought together metal, punk, emo, and nu-metal to create a lineup that's raw, youthful, and unapologetic. With Tool anchoring the weekend and Pierce the Veil making their headlining debut, we're breaking boundaries and redefining what Aftershock can be."

Thursday October 1 is headlined by My Chemical Romance with Sublime, The Offspring, The Pretty Reckless, The Used, Killswitch Engage, New Found Glory, Sevendust, and Starset on the bill. Friday October 2 sees Limp Bizkit topping a lineup that includes Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, $UICIDEBOY$, Insane Clown Posse, Slaughter to Prevail, Dethklok, and Underoath. Saturday October 3 is Pierce the Veil's headline debut, supported by BABYMETAL, A Day to Remember, Black Label Society, Sleeping with Sirens, Down, Circa Survive, The Ghost Inside, and Melvins. Special Performances and Milestones
My Chemical Romance will celebrate 20 years of The Black Parade during their Thursday night headlining set — one of the most anticipated moments of the entire weekend. Chad Gray will perform hits from his time with both Mudvayne and Hellyeah. Kylesa will make their first west coast performance since 2015. A mystery guest is also set to be announced at a later date.
