Claude Dubois, the renowned singer-songwriter, underwent surgery for vocal cord cancer on February 27. The 78-year-old artist is reportedly in good spirits, according to his agent, Nathalie Charest.
As a result of the surgery, Dubois cannot speak at the moment. He plans to take some time off to recover, leading to the cancellation of two upcoming performances from his “Dubois solide en liberté” tour. These shows were scheduled for April 25 and 26 in Brossard; however, they will be rescheduled.

Despite these challenges, Dubois eagerly anticipates returning to the stage. His participation in the “Dubois Biographie symphonique” concert remains unconfirmed. This event is set to take place at the Maison symphonique de Montréal on April 7.
