Arts organizers have a full slate across San Jose and Los Gatos. High school playoffs and area calendar, March 2-3
The area calendar for March 2-3 lists conference and playoff matchups across the region. The Conference Carolinas tournament second round opens with Barton at Emmanuel at 7 p. m. Several NCHSAA fourth-round playoff games are scheduled: 5-A NE Guilford at Fike, 6 p. m.; Hunt at SE Alamance, 7: 30 p. m.; and 4-A SW Edgecombe at Washington, 7 p. m. The 1-A playoff fourth round includes Vance Charter at Wilson Prep at 6 p. m.
Saturday schedules include Fike at East Wake at 4 p. m.; Beddingfield at Eastern Wayne at 6 p. m.; Hunt at Apex at 6: 30 p. m.; and Rosewood at North Johnston at 6: 30 p. m.
