Trump Predicts Iran Conflict Could End in Under Four Weeks Amid Escalating Strikes
US President Donald Trump recently made a bold prediction about the ongoing conflict with Iran, stating it could conclude in four weeks or less. His remarks came amid escalating military actions by US and Israeli forces targeting Iranian objectives. Following a series of retaliatory strikes by Iran against Gulf nations, Trump emphasized the urgency of military intervention to deter Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Trump’s Prediction on Iran Conflict
During a press briefing late on Sunday, Trump characterized the conflict as part of a typical four-week process. He noted, “As strong as it is, it’s a big country; it’ll take four weeks—or less.” This statement followed joint operations resulting in the assassination of key Iranian figures, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Significant Losses Among Iranian Leadership
Reports indicate that US operations have led to the elimination of 48 prominent Iranian leaders. This coordinated assault aimed to diminish Iran’s capabilities, particularly amid ongoing nuclear negotiations between the US and Iran.
Casualties and Military Engagements
The conflict has not come without a price. The US military reported the deaths of three soldiers stationed in Kuwait, marking the first American casualties in this offensive. Additionally, five service members sustained serious injuries.
Military Operations Intensify
As tensions mount, the US Central Command has confirmed the ongoing nature of operations. Trump warned that further US casualties are likely until all objectives are achieved. “Sadly, there will likely be more before it ends,” he stated.
Iran’s Retaliatory Strikes
Iran has continued its missile attacks, targeting sites in Israel and other Arab nations. Reports indicate over 200 deaths in Iran since the commencement of these strikes, with significant casualties reported in Israel as well.
