Sharon Osbourne curates No More Tears tribute as Robbie Williams fronts Brits honour for Ozzy Osbourne

Sharon Osbourne has curated a special arrangement of "No More Tears" that Robbie Williams will front as the Brit Awards posthumously honours Ozzy Osbourne with a Lifetime Achievement award, a moment set to close the show on Saturday.

Robbie Williams to front closing tribute

Stoke-on-Trent-born artist Robbie Williams will lead the tribute performance, closing the ceremony with the Sharon Osbourne-curated arrangement of "No More Tears. " The Brit Awards said Williams was personally invited by Sharon Osbourne to take part, described as "a long-standing fan of the music and friend of the family. " Williams last year teamed up with Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi on the single "Rocket" and has previously performed sections of "Paranoid" live.

Sharon Osbourne curated the closing tribute

Sharon Osbourne put together the special arrangement of "No More Tears" for the ceremony. Ozzy Osbourne died last July, just weeks after a farewell performance in his hometown of Birmingham, and the family’s role in shaping the tribute reflects that timing and connection.

Musicians from Ozzy's bands and past Brit moments

The Brits performance will feature musicians who played in Ozzy's band over the years: Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos and Zakk Wylde. Ozzy himself previously hosted the Brit Awards in 2008 alongside Sharon Osbourne and their two children, Kelly and Jack. The planned Manchester tribute follows earlier memorial performances at the US Grammys, where Post Malone, Slash, Duff McKagan, Chad Smith and Andrew Watt joined on a cover of "War Pigs. "

Ceremony set for Manchester with broad line-up and awards

The Brit Awards will take place on Saturday at Manchester's Co-op Live and will be hosted by Jack Whitehall. It is the first time the ceremony has been held outside of London. Performers scheduled for the night include EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami (the singing voices of HUNTR/X from KPop Demon Hunters), Alex Warren, Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, Mark Ronson, Raye, Rosalía, Sombr and Wolf Alice.

Legacy, sales and industry honours highlighted

The ceremony will mark Ozzy Osbourne's Lifetime Achievement Award alongside a reminder of his commercial and industry record: more than 100 million worldwide album sales over five decades; 19 studio albums and eight live albums with Black Sabbath; and another 13 studio albums as a solo artist. Industry accolades listed for Osbourne include five Grammy awards, induction into both the UK Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame—each recognition coming both with Black Sabbath and as a solo artist in separate years—and the Ivor Novello Award for Lifetime Achievement with Black Sabbath. Stacey Tang, chair of the 2026 Brit Awards Committee and co-president of RCA Records at Sony Music UK, said: "Ozzy Osbourne has been a mighty force in modern music. Possessing an unmistakable voice and unique presence, he reshaped the sound and spirit of rock, inspiring generations of artists who followed. This Lifetime Achievement Award recognises a remarkable legacy built on originality and enduring influence, that continues to connect with fans worldwide. "

Other winners announced ahead of the show

Organisers have announced several awards ahead of the ceremony: Jacob Alon has been named this year's Critics' Choice winner, Noel Gallagher will be presented with Brits Songwriter of the Year and PinkPantheress will be honoured with the Brits Producer of the Year award.

The Manchester ceremony will conclude with the Williams-fronted performance of Sharon Osbourne’s arrangement of "No More Tears, " capping a night that acknowledges Ozzy Osbourne’s sales, awards and five-decade recording career.
