Lisa Rinna says she was drugged with fentanyl at Traitors premiere party

Lisa Rinna said she believes she was drugged with fentanyl at the Traitors premiere party and that medical testing showed fentanyl and high levels of amphetamines in her system, a revelation she made while promoting her new memoir as the show's finale airs Thursday night.

Traitors premiere party at The Abbey on Jan. 8

Rinna said the Season Four premiere party took place Jan. 8 at The Abbey in West Hollywood, the same day the show aired its first episode on Peacock. Speaking on Good Day New York, she told hosts she believes someone slipped drugs into her drink and that she later confirmed the presence of fentanyl through testing.

Tests found fentanyl and high levels of amphetamines, Rinna said

When asked whether she had taken a test, Rinna said she did and that it showed fentanyl in her system as well as "high levels of amphetamines and other things. " She said she could not discuss many details because "we're still dealing with it, " and thanked her husband, Harry Hamlin, for intervening that night and helping to get her out of the venue.

Colton Underwood, responses and what comes next

A separate account said Traitors co-star Colton Underwood noticed Rinna was suddenly very inebriated that night and that members of her team got her out of the bar after a group photo. Rinna has not said whether she contacted authorities. Representatives for Rinna and for Peacock did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Rinna was selected as one of the Traitors on the show and was later voted off; she has also discussed tensions with other reality TV figures in her recent promotional appearances. She told interviewers that others have had similar experiences at the venue and that the issue "needs to be a conversation. "

The Traitors finale airs Thursday night. Rinna said she is still handling the matter and that her team is addressing the situation while she continues promotion of her memoir.
