The Flyers did not hold a morning skate following their recent 3-1 loss against the Washington Capitals. Samuel Ersson is anticipated to start in goal after Dan Vladar’s performance against Washington, where he recorded 26 saves.
For the Rangers, key players Igor Shesterkin and Adam Fox are making their returns after missing 13 games due to lower-body injuries. In preparation, forward Brett Berard has been reassigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack, and goalie Hugo Ollas has moved to the Bloomington Thunder of the ECHL.
Additionally, Conor Sheary will return after a 15-game absence due to injury, while Brendan Brisson will make his debut with the Rangers after being called up from Hartford on February 17. Matt Rempe has been placed on injured reserve, and there is currently no timeline for his recovery.
