Tgl Golf: How to watch New York GC vs. The Bay GC and a crucial week of double-headers
The tgl golf schedule tightens this week: seven regular-season matches are set over the next nine days, and four of those matches will take place in the next 36 hours, starting Monday with a doubleheader at the SoFi Center.
Tgl Golf double-headers start Monday at 5 p. m. ET
Match 9 opens Monday at 5 p. m. ET when Atlanta Drive Golf Club (2-1) plays Boston Common Golf (2-0). ADGC returns for the nightcap at 9 p. m. ET to face the Los Angeles Golf Club (1-2), and those two Monday matches will complete ADGC’s regular-season slate.
Both of Monday’s scorecards are among the longest in Season 2: Match 9 measures 6, 203 yards and Match 11 measures 6, 148 yards. The early layout used for the 5 p. m. matches is the longer of the two designs and features par 4s averaging 459 yards and par 3s averaging 189 yards, with average fairway success at 62% and average greens in regulation success at 65%.
New York GC faces The Bay GC at 5 p. m. ET; later Boston Common returns to SoFi
Tuesday gives two looks at the New York Golf Club (1-1). NYGC plays The Bay Golf Club (1-2) in a 5 p. m. ET match, then matches up again at 9: 00 p. m. ET with Boston Common Golf at the SoFi Center. If Boston Common or New York sweeps both of their matches this week, each team would move into a strong position to finish the regular season in first place.
Boston Common and New York have each played just two matches in Season 2 so far, while Atlanta Drive, Los Angeles, The Bay and other teams have three results apiece. Match 9 begins with a head-to-head fight over first place, and if wins and losses fall a certain way, Match 12 on Tuesday night could also become a first-place title tussle.
New holes, returning stars and a packed SoFi Center
The pair of nights will use essentially two courses, swapping only the home holes for each team while leaving the other 13 holes identical. Two brand-new holes are debuting on the layouts, and the early course on both nights is notably longer. Justin Thomas is slated to return to competition in Season 2 before resuming play on the PGA TOUR following back surgery, and Major Champions Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama are rejoining Boston Common’s lineup.
The PGA Tour’s stop in Florida — the Cognizant Classic — coincides with this stretch, and the SoFi Center is expected to be full of tournament attendees during the broadcasts. ADGC completes its regular-season matches Monday night, while multiple other matches this week will have playoff implications.
Across the next 36 hours, four matches will provide crucial positioning for the stretch run. Catch Monday’s opener at 5 p. m. ET and the nightcap at 9 p. m. ET, followed by Tuesday’s 5 p. m. ET and 9: 00 p. m. ET matches; those games will determine who sits well heading into the remaining weeks of the regular season.
