Download Festival 2026 adds A Day To Remember, The Primals and Miss World Chile’s death metal act

Organisers have unveiled a fresh wave of acts for download festival 2026, bringing A Day To Remember, The Primals and Decessus — whose singer Ignacia Fernández won Miss World Chile after going viral for death growls — into a bill that already includes Limp Bizkit, Guns N' Roses and Linkin Park.

New names join a stacked weekend

The latest announcement lists A Day To Remember, THE PRIMALS (also styled The Primals), Daughtry, Creeper, Hot Milk, Silly Goose, Marmozets, BAND‑MAID, Stampin’ Ground, Frozemode, Conjurer, Annisokay, Private School and Decessus. The organisers said day splits for the event have been confirmed and that day tickets are now available.

What The Primals are bringing

Final Fantasy XIV’s official metal band The Primals will perform at the festival for their first show outside of Asia. Masayoshi Soken, who brings the band, and the group — made up of game developers who play heavy versions of Final Fantasy classic anthems — have described their role as lighting a fire toward players’ memories rather than making the player the passive audience.

Miss World Chile’s switch to death metal

Decessus will perform with Ignacia Fernández, who won the Miss World Chile contest and went viral for her ferocious death growls. Organisers highlighted that Fernández will be performing with her band after surprising audiences with those vocals a few months ago.

How this fits the broader bill

Those additions join headliners Limp Bizkit — making their first appearance as Download headliners — Guns N' Roses and Linkin Park. Earlier confirmations for the event already included more than 90 names announced last year, among them Bad Omens, Cypress Hill, Tom Morello, Trivium, Halestorm, Pendulum, Mastodon, BABYMETAL, Architects, The All‑American Rejects and Feeder. Other named acts on the broader lineup include Cypress Hill, Trivium, Bad Omens, Halestorm, Architects, Babymetal, Electric Callboy and Ice Nine Kills.

Live Nation's Kamran Haq, chief booker for the festival, said the second announcement brings further depth and diversity to DLXXIII, naming A Day To Remember, Daughtry, Creeper and Hot Milk, and noting the inclusion of Final Fantasy XIV’s official band THE PRIMALS in their very first show outside of Asia. Haq also highlighted that Miss World Chile – Ignacia Fernández – will be performing with Decessus and teased additional surprises for the bill.

Tickets, day splits and what’s next

Organisers put day tickets on sale alongside the new wave of artists. PayPal users have access to a 48‑hour exclusive presale from 10 a. m. ET today, with a general on sale following at 10 a. m. on Wednesday 25 February. Weekend tickets are on sale now.

Festival organiser Andy Copping emphasised the importance of creating a platform for new and emerging talent, pointing to developments on stages such as the Dogtooth stage and the Avalanche as examples of giving bands the opportunity to grow.

The next confirmed ticket milestone is the general day‑ticket on sale at 10 a. m. on Wednesday 25 February; organisers have said further lineup surprises are expected ahead of the event.
