The two-minute LA28 promotional piece, titled "LA28 Dreamin', " debuted on Feb. 22, 2026 during live coverage of the Milan Cortina closing ceremony. The spot features Kate Hudson performing a new rendition of The Mamas & the Papas’ "California Dreamin'" and includes Team USA Olympic and Paralympic athletes filmed across Downtown LA, Venice Beach, the 6th Street Bridge and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The promo pairs entertainment and elite sport, with athletes such as Jack Alexy, Perris Benegas and Rai Benjamin appearing alongside Hudson. NBCUniversal described the film as a "love letter" to Los Angeles as it builds toward the Summer Games in 2028.
