Jack and Quinn Hughes Shine as Team USA Hockey Stars
The Sheraton Milan Malpensa Airport Hotel became a notable hub for American athletes during the Milano Cortina Winter Games. The venue hosted the “Team USA Welcome Event,” showcasing various sponsors, including Ralph Lauren, Skims, New Era, and Starbucks. Athletes arriving from their flights gathered here to receive gifts and outfits. Among these athletes were the rising hockey stars Jack and Quinn Hughes.

The Hughes brothers recently arrived from JFK Airport, preparing for the Winter Games. They were at the event picking up their outfits for the closing ceremony, which featured vibrantly color-blocked parkas emblazoned with “2026.” Their demeanor remained upbeat despite the fatigue from their overnight journey, and Quinn remarked, “We’re not too bad,” when asked about jet lag.

Jack, 24, plays as a center forward for the New Jersey Devils. He set a franchise record for the most points scored in a single season with 99 points, which included 43 goals and 56 assists during the 2022–2023 NHL season. Jack has been honored as an NHL All-Star three times.
Quinn, aged 26, plays defense for the Minnesota Wild. He led all NHL defensemen in points during the 2022–2023 period while playing for the Vancouver Canucks and is also a two-time NHL All-Star. Both brothers were drafted into the NHL—Quinn in 2018 and Jack in 2019.
