Sky Sports Racing brings exciting action from Southwell and Ffos Las this Friday. The highlight of the day is the much-anticipated Flat debut of Constitution Hill at Southwell.
Constitution Hill’s Flat Debut at Southwell
At 7:30 PM, Constitution Hill will compete in the SBK Road To Cheltenham Novice Stakes. This exceptional horse, trained by Nicky Henderson, is an eight-time Grade One winner. Despite recent challenges—falling in three of his last four races—expectations remain high for his mile-and-a-half race on the all-weather track.
Oisin Murphy will ride Constitution Hill, making it intriguing to see how he adapts to this new format. He is aiming for a successful transition before focusing on the prestigious Cheltenham Festival next month.
Square Necker is anticipated to be a significant competitor. Trained by Kevin Philippart de Foy for Amo Racing, this four-year-old debuted successfully at Dundalk in December. With David Egan on board, expectations are that he can build upon his prior success.
