Maya Hawke Marries Christian Lee Hutson in Star-Studded Valentine’s Day Ceremony

Actor and musician Maya Hawke and singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson were married on Feb. 14, 2026 (Valentine’s Day) in New York City, exchanging vows at St. George’s Episcopal Church before a reception at The Players Members Club. Family and a number of Hawke’s long-time collaborators and co-stars attended the intimate celebration.

Family presence and a familiar cast in attendance

The bride, 27, was accompanied down the aisle by her father, Ethan Hawke, who walked alongside her holding a bouquet of white flowers. Her mother, Uma Thurman, was also present and was photographed wearing a light blue floral ensemble. The ceremony drew a crowd of close friends and colleagues, including many of Hawke’s fellow cast members from her breakout television series: Finn Wolfhard, Joe Keery, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink and Natalie Dyer were all on hand. Additional guests included Sam Nivola and Kathryn Newton.

Following the church service, the newlyweds and their guests made a short trip to The Players Members Club for an evening reception, where attendees celebrated for several hours.

A relationship rooted in friendship and music

Hawke, best known for both her acting work and her musical pursuits, and Hutson, 35, have moved between creative and personal collaboration for several years. The two were first linked publicly in 2023, and sources close to the couple say they had been friends for roughly four years before romance blossomed. Their partnership has been both personal and professional: Hutson co-produced work with Hawke and the pair have frequently appeared on each other’s recordings and stage performances.

Hutson has released multiple albums, and Hawke contributed vocals to his most recent project. The two also collaborated on Hawke’s second studio album, "Moss, " and on her 2024 release, "Chaos Angel. " They even performed together on parts of Hutson’s 2025 tour. Hawke has spoken about the advantages of dating a friend, calling it “the best” and noting that a partner who already knows you well can offer a more realistic, human connection.

New chapter after years of creative pairing

The wedding marks a new chapter for a pair who have steadily intertwined careers and personal lives. Friends, family and creative collaborators gathered to celebrate what was described as an intimate ceremony, highlighting the couple’s preference for a low-key but meaningful approach to milestones.

Hawke is the eldest child of Thurman and Ethan Hawke, who were married from 1998 to 2005. The couple’s union on Valentine’s Day brought together multiple generations of Hawke’s family along with a circle of creative peers who have been part of the couple’s journey onstage and off.

As they begin married life, Hawke and Hutson appear poised to continue their collaborative work in music and performance while maintaining the close-knit community that surrounded them on their wedding day.
