The announcement was made by Fathom CEO Ray Nutt, emphasizing the importance of classic film re-releases. He stated that these curated movies resonate with audience members of all ages. “Classic and popular re-releases are an important theatrical programming category,” Nutt remarked.
Film historian Leonard Maltin is making a return for his fourth year in the series. He will provide exclusive introductions that delve into the legacy of each film. Maltin, a former instructor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, co-hosts the podcast “Maltin on Movies” alongside his daughter, Jessie.
