Capcom Unveils Amiibo, Demos, and More in Nintendo Direct Showcase
Capcom showcased exciting new content during the latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, particularly for the Nintendo Switch 2. Gamers can look forward to several new releases, many of which will have free demos available.
Upcoming Game Releases from Capcom
The anticipated title, Resident Evil Requiem, marks the ninth installment in the renowned survival horror series. This game is set to launch on February 27, 2026. On the same day, earlier entries in the series, Resident Evil Biohazard and Resident Evil Village, will also be released on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Both amiibo figures will be available later in the summer. Additionally, a new Resident Evil Requiem Pro controller has been revealed, featuring multiple difficulty settings suitable for both newcomers and veterans. Players can experience the game in either first or third-person perspective, adjustable based on the character being used.
New IP: PRAGMATA
Capcom also introduced PRAGMATA, a new intellectual property where players control a spacefarer named Hugh Williams and a child-like android named Diana. Their objective is to escape a lunar research station populated by heavily armored robots. Players can utilize Diana’s hacking skills to disable these foes.
Blending puzzle-solving with dynamic third-person action, PRAGMATA will officially launch on April 24, 2026. The Diana amiibo will coincide with the game’s release, and a free demo will be available in the Nintendo eShop.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
Another exciting announcement was Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, scheduled for release on March 13, 2026. Players can train Monsties and enhance their abilities through a mechanic called the Rite of Channeling. A demo is also available for download on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop, with progress carrying over to the full game.
