Canada’s Hosking Reaches Women’s Halfpipe Final on Day 5

The fifth day of the Milan Cortina Olympics has proven significant for Team Canada, particularly in women’s snowboarding. Canadian snowboarder Elizabeth Hosking advanced to the final of the women’s halfpipe event, adding to the excitement of the ongoing competition.

Elizabeth Hosking, a 24-year-old from Longueuil, Quebec, has successfully secured her position in the women’s halfpipe final. This marks her third Olympic participation. She qualified by finishing eighth in the qualifying round.

In the same qualifying event, other Canadian athletes faced challenges:

Felicity Geremia from Calgary finished in 17th place, missing the qualification.
