Lay’s Expands Potato Offerings for Super Bowl LX
Lay’s is making a significant return to Super Bowl LX with exciting new offerings and an engaging fan activation. This year, the brand will launch two commercials, including a new ad titled “Last Harvest,” which captures the essence of potato farming.
Lay’s Super Bowl LX Campaign
Set to air on February 8, this emotionally resonant ad follows a father-daughter duo, Tom Neumiller and Katie Floming, from Neumiller Farms in Illinois. The commercial highlights their generational legacy in potato farming and the valuable knowledge passed down through their family.
Creative Direction by Taika Waititi
Directed by Academy Award winner Taika Waititi, known for films like “Jojo Rabbit” and “Thor,” “Last Harvest” continues the storytelling approach seen in Lay’s previous Super Bowl spot, “The Little Farmer.” The commercial features a heartfelt rendition of “Somewhere Only We Know,” originally by the band Keane, enhancing its emotional depth.
The Neumiller Farm Legacy
Neumiller Farms is a third-generation farm producing approximately 3,500 acres of potatoes each year. PepsiCo has partnered with this family farm for decades, collaborating closely with Tom and Katie to ensure quality in Lay’s potato chips.
