NBA Reveals 2026 AT&T Slam Dunk Contest Participants

On February 14, 2026, the AT&T Slam Dunk Contest will take place at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Set to begin at 5 p.m. ET, this annual event is part of the NBA All-Star Saturday festivities. Fans can catch the action live on NBC and Peacock.

2026 AT&T Slam Dunk Contest Participants

The NBA has announced the participants for this exciting contest. Four players will showcase their aerial abilities, competing for the coveted title of Dunk Champion.

  • Keshad Johnson (Miami Heat)
  • Jase Richardson (Orlando Magic)

Rookies and Experience

This year’s lineup features two rookies: Carter Bryant and Jase Richardson. Bryant, a 6’6” forward, was selected 14th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft by the Spurs. Richardson, a 6’1” guard, was picked 25th overall by the Magic. Notably, he is the son of two-time AT&T Slam Dunk champion Jason Richardson, who won in 2002 and 2003.

Jaxson Hayes, measuring 7 feet, enters his seventh NBA season and third with the Lakers. Keshad Johnson, a 6’6” forward, is in his second season after a stint with the Miami Heat and their G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Competition Format

The 2026 AT&T Slam Dunk Contest will follow a two-round format. In the initial round, each player will attempt two dunks, with judges scoring their performances. The top two players, based on combined scores, will advance to the final round.

During the finale, each finalist will perform two additional dunks. The player with the highest combined score at the end will be crowned the champion of the 2026 AT&T Slam Dunk Contest.
