Key Players from Caerphilly County Borough
Although none of these players will be in the initial matchday squad against England, their inclusion in the 40-man roster offers them the possibility of participation later in the tournament.
Carter Pritchard
Carter Pritchard is one of the standout players. He developed his skills at Caerphilly RFC’s mini and junior sections before joining the Dragons RFC development program. Pritchard has previously played for Wales at both the Under-18 and Under-19 levels, showcasing his potential as a scrum-half.
Rhys Cole
Rhys Cole, who began his rugby career at Blackwood RFC, is also representing Caerphilly in the squad. Currently playing for Dragons RFC, Cole is expected to make a significant impact in the tournament.

The Under-20s squad comprises players from all four Welsh regions and select English clubs. Richard Whiffin, the team coach, expressed confidence in the selection. “It was a tough and robust process, but we believe we have a squad capable of competing effectively in the championship,” he stated.
