James Taylor and Son Henry Perform Live on ‘Colbert’
James Taylor recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he brought a special surprise for fans. Accompanied by his son, Henry Taylor, the legendary musician performed the beloved song “You Can Close Your Eyes.” This track, which showcases Taylor’s poetic lyrics and soothing melodies, first appeared on his 1971 album, Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon.
In addition to the live performance, a bonus online rendition of “Line ‘Em Up,” from Taylor’s 1997 album, Hourglass, was also released. This performance featured talented musician Louis Cato alongside The Late Show Band, adding depth to the live experience.
