Trump revealed that the event will take place on the South Lawn of the White House. He mentioned that the stadium would accommodate approximately 100,000 attendees. However, specific design details were not disclosed.

Alongside the UFC event, Trump also announced the “America250 Grand Prix,” scheduled from August 21-23. This IndyCar race will navigate through the streets of Washington, D.C. The event aims to highlight the city’s iconic monuments and is expected to draw substantial crowds.
Collaboration With Local Authorities
The executive order signed by Trump directs key federal agencies and local officials, including the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Transportation, to maintain the race route. The commitment is aimed at ensuring the event’s success and its smooth execution.
UFC Participation and Attendance
Currently, there is no list of UFC participants, but Dana White, UFC’s president, indicated that around 5,000 fans could be present on the lawn. In addition, approximately 85,000 spectators may gather at the nearby Ellipse, potentially exceeding Trump’s projections for the event.
Financial Aspects of the Event
White stated that UFC will not rely on taxpayer funding for the event. Instead, they may invest up to $700,000 for grass restoration on the South Lawn post-event. White emphasized their commitment to financing the occasion entirely.
This upcoming UFC event not only signifies a milestone for the organization but also showcases the blend of sports and national celebration at one of the most prominent locations in the United States.
