Qantas is set to enhance its operations in Sydney with an expanded seasonal route to Sapporo New Chitose. The airline plans to increase service frequency during the Northern winter season of 2026/27.

The airline initially filed plans to boost its flight schedule from three to four weekly flights. However, recent updates indicate that Qantas will now offer five weekly flights between Sydney and Sapporo, effective from December 20, 2026, to January 31, 2027.
