Masters Champions Dinner Menus: Iconic Choices from Rory to Tiger
The Champions Dinner at Augusta National is one of golf’s longest-standing rituals. Each Masters winner selects the menu for the following year’s Tuesday dinner.
Origins and rules
The tradition dates to 1952 when Ben Hogan organized the Masters Club for past champions. Honorary memberships were given to Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts. Tournament chairmen later joined the group and Fred Ridley attends every year.
Membership comes with an inscribed gold locket shaped like the Club emblem. The winner who selects the menu also pays for the meal for fellow champions.
How the dinner is presented
The champion chooses the menu and serves it to past winners the next tournament week. The dinner remains personal. Speeches and family touches are common.
Note: the year shown for each menu is the year the dinner was served, not the year the champion won. Filmogaz.com compiled the following highlights.
