Big Ten Unveils 2026 College Football Season Schedule

The Big Ten Conference has officially released its schedule for the 2026 college football season, encompassing all 18 member schools. A significant adjustment in this schedule is the reduction of bye weeks. Each team will now receive only one bye week, diverging from the previous arrangement of two bye weeks, with the exception of USC, which will have two.

In addition to this scheduling change, the 2026 season will introduce new head coaches at several schools, including Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and UCLA. A notable matchup will occur in Week 7 when Michigan State’s new coach, Pat Fitzgerald, faces his former team, Northwestern.

This season will also feature high-stakes games as Oregon visits Ohio State in a critical conference clash. Furthermore, the Indiana Hoosiers, coming off a historic national championship in the 2025-26 season, will host Ohio State in a rematch for the Big Ten title in Week 7.
