Harry Styles Boosts Small Music Venues with Generous Tour Donation

Harry Styles is making a significant contribution to small music venues across the UK with his latest tour initiative. Announcing his Together Together tour, Styles has pledged to donate £1 from each ticket sold for his 2026 stadium shows to support grassroots venues.

Details of the Together Together Tour

The tour includes six nights at Wembley Stadium and has recently expanded to eight shows due to immense fan demand during the pre-sale. This fundraising effort is expected to generate approximately £780,000 for the LIVE Trust, an organization dedicated to preserving small music venues in the UK.

Supporting Grassroots Venues

  • More than half of small venues are struggling and facing potential closure.
  • Over 150 venues have permanently closed since the start of 2023, equating to 16% of the UK sector.

Styles’ commitment follows similar donations from other artists such as Pulp, Katy Perry, and Coldplay. He has expressed gratitude to the small venues that shaped his career, stating, “I wouldn’t be doing what I am doing today if it wasn’t for all the gigs I played around the North East.”

Industry Support for the Grassroots Levy

The Music Venue Trust has applauded Styles’ contribution, acknowledging that while a £1 levy might seem minor, it can have significant effects when adopted by top artists. Currently, this grassroots levy is voluntary, but Culture Minister Ian Murray aims for at least 50% of ticket sales for stadium shows in 2026 to follow suit.

Ticket Sales and Pricing

The pre-sale for tickets has been met with overwhelming demand, with a range of prices from £44.10 to £466.25, including fees. Customers have expressed concerns over rising ticket costs, especially as Styles’ last performance at Wembley featured lower ticket prices.
