Council Shuts Outdoor Facilities Following Met Office Wind Alert
The council has announced the closure of various outdoor facilities due to a severe wind alert from the Met Office. The warning will remain in effect from midnight until 11:59 PM, emphasizing the importance of public safety.

During this period, several popular sites will be inaccessible:
- Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail
- Gortin Glens Forest Park, including the scenic drive
- Lough Navar Forest Drive
- Multiple parks and walking routes
Additionally, household recycling centers will be closed due to the risk of flying debris. Leisure centers and their outdoor facilities, including pitches and Multi-Use Games Areas, will also not be open to the public.
