Massive Winter Storm Halts TTC Subway and Line 6 Operations

Toronto faced significant transportation challenges on Monday due to a massive winter storm. The storm deposited up to 60 centimetres of snow, disrupting operations across the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).

As a result of the inclement weather, several subway lines experienced service disruptions.

Line 1 Service Disruptions

Shuttle buses are currently operating on these segments to assist affected riders.

Line 2 Service Disruptions

  • No service between Kipling and Islington stations, with shuttle buses running between Kipling and St. George.
  • No service between Woodbine and Kennedy stations, where shuttle buses are also in operation.
