The technical workings behind this crossplay feature are intriguing. According to iamcxv7, he uses “packet trickery” to create a Minecraft server within the Hytale Java Virtual Machine (JVM). He explains that he employs the identical coordinate system from Hytale’s world to facilitate communication between the two games.
Despite its innovative nature, the mod is currently not available to the public due to instability. iamcxv7 notes that some functionalities, such as world generation and rendering unique Hytale blocks, are still under development.
