Jets to Host Alumni Game Before 2026 Heritage Classic

Fans of hockey can look forward to an exciting event in Winnipeg as part of the upcoming Heritage Classic. The Winnipeg Jets will host an alumni game featuring retired players from both the Jets and the Montreal Canadiens.

Details of the Alumni Game

The alumni game is scheduled for January 24, 2026, at Princess Auto Stadium, home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. This event is a precursor to the highly anticipated Heritage Classic match on January 25, where the Jets will take on the Canadiens.

Team Captains

Blake Wheeler, the longtime captain of the Jets, will spearhead the Winnipeg alumni team. He expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It’s good to spend the weekend with your former teammates.”
