- Matt Nagy: Nagy had previously conducted a virtual interview. He has an extensive coaching background, spending nine seasons with the Chiefs and serving as their offensive coordinator since 2022.

- Robert Saleh: He has 21 years of NFL coaching experience. This is his second tenure as the 49ers’ defensive coordinator, having previously held the position from 2017 to 2020. He also served as head coach for the New York Jets from 2021 to 2024, with a record of 20 wins and 36 losses.
- Matt Nagy: Nagy was the head coach of the Chicago Bears from 2018 to 2021. He transitioned back to the Chiefs in 2022 as a senior offensive assistant/quarterbacks coach, before being promoted to offensive coordinator.
