Belfast International Airport Revamps Dining in £100m Investment Overhaul
Belfast International Airport is set to enhance its dining offerings significantly as part of a £100 million investment program over five years. The first new addition, a coffee bar named ‘Soul and Grain,’ has opened this week in collaboration with SSP Group, experts in food travel.
New Dining Concepts at Belfast International Airport
As part of this major overhaul, a new premium bar and kitchen will be introduced. This venue will feature a spacious 300 seats, providing an elevated dining experience for travelers. Existing favorites like Starbucks and Burger King will continue to operate, complemented by a new casual dining restaurant designed for families and larger groups. Additionally, the iconic Lagan Bar will undergo a renovation to increase its seating capacity.
Enhancements and Facilities
This phase of development will further improve the commercial facilities at the airport. Recent upgrades include:
- A state-of-the-art security hall
- A world-class duty-free shopping experience
- A new arrivals area
- Enhanced forecourt facilities
Dan Owens, Chief Executive of Belfast International Airport, emphasized the importance of showcasing Northern Ireland’s renowned hospitality and local produce. He stated, “We strive to create memorable experiences for passengers, making exceptional food and beverage offerings a priority.”
