Deni Avdija’s Status
Avdija has been dealing with a lower back strain sustained late in a previous game against the New York Knicks. He has missed the last three outings due to this injury. Avdija participated in warm-ups for the last two games, helping the Blazers secure wins against the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers. Blazers’ acting coach Tiago Splitter commented, “He’s still recovering, and we want to ensure he’s completely fit before playing.”
Jrue Holiday and Jerami Grant’s Returns
Holiday and Grant both recently returned from injuries. Holiday missed over eight weeks with a right calf strain but has played in the last three games. Grant returned after a month-long absence due to left Achilles tendonitis and has appeared in the last two games.
Despite their returns, both players are now listed as doubtful for the Kings matchup as part of injury management. When asked about their readiness for back-to-back games, Coach Splitter stated that the team’s priority is to monitor their conditions following the recent game.

Another player added to the injury report is Robert Williams III. The backup center is listed as doubtful due to left knee management and has not participated in back-to-back games this season.
