Leapmotor has unveiled an ambitious global strategy at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, focusing on launching three key hybrid electric vehicles (EVs): the B03X, B05, and B10. This strategy underscores Leapmotor’s commitment to expanding its presence in the European market, aiming to enhance accessible electric mobility.
Leapmotor’s Global Strategy Overview
Leapmotor’s partnership with Stellantis has fueled its rapid growth, now reaching over 40 markets with nearly 1,700 sales and service points. The company has achieved significant milestones, selling over 600,000 units in 2025 alone, marking a 103% year-on-year increase. This has positioned Leapmotor as a leader among Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) startups, with total vehicle deliveries surpassing one million.
Tianshu Xin, Leapmotor’s International CEO, emphasized the brand’s focus on high-quality electric vehicles delivered at competitive prices. “Our global ambitions are built on rigorous quality and consistency,” he stated.

Europe holds a central role in Leapmotor’s growth plans. The year 2025 was pivotal, marking the company’s first full year in Europe, where it established over 800 sales points and registered more than 35,000 vehicles.

B10 Hybrid EV: Range Extender Technology
The B10 Hybrid EV leverages range-extender technology to blend electric and petrol capabilities. Key features include:
- 18.8 kWh battery providing a 50-mile EV range (WLTP)
- Onboard 1.5-litre petrol generator for extended journeys
- Comprehensive safety features, including seven airbags and enhanced structural integrity
