Embark Studios has teased an exciting future for its game Arc Raiders, hinting at new content set to arrive in 2026. During a recent interview with GamesRadar+, Virgil Watkins, the design lead for the game, shared insights about upcoming updates, specifically focusing on new maps.

Watkins indicated that players can expect multiple new maps this year. These maps will vary in size, catering to different styles of gameplay. He stated, “There are going to be multiple maps coming this year, and I think it’s going to be across a spectrum of size.”

- A settlement near a looming volcano
- A toxic swamp area

- A desert area featuring underground fast travel
- A giant flying Arc for players to enter and loot
