His time at Kansas State has been marked by challenges. In the 2025 season, an injury limited his participation. Edwards left the team midseason to maintain his redshirt eligibility, after struggling in the Wildcats’ Week 0 loss to Iowa State. He made only a minor impact in the remaining games of the year.
