$30K Stolen from Late NASCAR Legend Greg Biffle’s Home, Authorities Report
Authorities are looking into a serious burglary at the residence of Greg Biffle, a renowned NASCAR legend. This incident took place shortly after a tragic plane crash claimed the lives of Biffle, his family, and three others.
Burglary Incident Details
The alleged burglary occurred at Biffle’s estate in Iredell County, North Carolina. Deputies were called to the scene shortly after 6 p.m. last Thursday, according to the local sheriff’s office.
- A backpack and $30,000 in cash were reported missing.
- Firearms and memorabilia were also stolen.
- No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
Greg Biffle’s Tragic Loss
On December 18, Biffle, along with his wife Cristina and their two children, died in a plane crash at Statesville Regional Airport. They were among the three additional victims also on board the aircraft.
The Cessna C550, owned by GB Aviation Leasing, which Biffle operated, crashed shortly after takeoff while attempting to land. An investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is underway to determine the cause.
