Anthropic Unveils Claude for Creating Marketing Assets, Presentations, and User Interfaces

Anthropic Labs has launched Claude Design, an AI-driven tool for producing visual collateral. The system is built on Claude Opus 4.7, the upgraded flagship model launched Thursday. Claude Design targets both seasoned creatives and nontechnical teams, enabling creating marketing assets, presentations, and user interfaces with natural language commands.

How the platform operates

Users interact with Claude Design through plain language instructions. The tool generates initial layouts, which users can edit directly or refine via chat and inline comments.

Custom sliders let teams tweak images, data, and other elements in real time. During onboarding, users supply reference files and code. Claude Design then generates a project-wide design system to standardize colors, type, and other elements.

Inputs, outputs and prototyping

The platform accepts text prompts, document and visual uploads, and references to a codebase. It can also capture elements directly from websites for reuse.

Outputs are editable within a shared interface. Teams can export files in multiple formats or hand them off to Claude Code to begin implementation.

Clauses can be used to assemble more complex prototypes without manual coding. The tool supports voice features, video components, 3D visuals, and special effects for richer digital experiences.

Early testing and partners

Claude Design is currently in a research beta with select companies. Participants include Canva, Datadog, and Brilliant.

Test teams used the system for product mockups, wireframes, pitch decks, webpages, social posts, and campaign visuals. Reports indicate faster iteration and closer alignment with brand guidelines during in-person design sessions.

Canva has collaborated with Anthropic for about a year. CEO Melanie Perkins said integration will let users move drafts into Canva as fully editable, collaborative designs.

At Datadog, product manager Aneesh Kethini noted the tool sped up prototype cycles. He said teams can reach a working prototype within a single discussion, rather than through days of back-and-forth.

Market positioning and availability

Anthropic positions Claude Design as a competitor to established design platforms. Companies like Figma and Adobe have also accelerated AI investments recently.

Anthropic Labs develops and experiments with internal AI products. The company says Claude Design offers experienced designers more room to explore. It also gives non-designers a practical way to produce visual work, the company told Filmogaz.com.

The product is available to Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers while in research beta.
